The Savior is not only one who is known as "The Great Deliverer" from Egypt (literal and modern) but He also is one who delivers is "to" somethings:
1N 1:20 - But behold, I, Nephi, will show unto you that the tender cmercies of the Lord are over all those whom he hath chosen, because of their faith, to make them mighty even unto the power of ddeliverance.
Deliverance from Bondage and Destruction
Nephi -(his brothers) (From Laban's chasing after them, Angel who was beating Nephi and Sam, Laban into Nephi's hands, the plates, Zoram was delivered, Sariah was given a testimony of Lord's power of deliverance, scriptures delivered ppl from ignorance, from loneliness thru wives of Ishmael, Nephi and ship building and from tempest, from the wickedness of his brothers, in battles with the Lamanites,
Zeniff as they prayed "in the strength of the Lord" they defeated the Lamanites (Mosiah 10:10-11)
King Lemhi and his people from the Lamanites (Mosiah 7:33, 20:14-15, & chapts 21-22)
Alma and his people in the land of Helam (waters of Mormon-Mosiah 23-24:13,16, 17,21)
Alma and the sons of Mosiah (Ammon & flocks, delivered brethren from prison, Lamanite kings from ignorance, saved so many souls-burying swords, from evil and wicked traditions,
Ammon leading the converted Lamanites to land of Jershon vs being slain (Alma 27)

And they broke the cords with which they were bound; and when the people saw this, they began to flee, for the fear of destruction had come upon them.
Alma 36: 27 And I have been supported under trials and troubles of every kind, yea, and in all manner of afflictions; yea, God has adelivered me from prison, and from bonds, and from death; yea, and I do put my trust in him, and he will still bdeliver me.
Alma 41 7 aThese are they that are redeemed of the Lord; yea, these are they that are taken out, that are delivered from that endless night of darkness; and thus they stand or fall; for behold, they are their own bjudges, whether to do good or do evil.
Alma 44: 3 But now, ye behold that the Lord is with us; and ye behold that he has delivered you into our hands. And now I would that ye should understand that this is done unto us abecause of our religion and our faith in Christ. And now ye see that ye cannot destroy this our faith.
Alma 45: 1 Behold, now it came to pass that the people of Nephi were exceedingly rejoiced, because the Lord had again adelivered them out of the hands of their enemies; therefore they gave thanks unto the Lord their God; yea, and they did bfast much and pray much, and they did worship God with exceedingly great joy.
Alma 46: 7 And there were many in the church who believed in the aflattering words of Amalickiah, therefore they bdissented even from the church; and thus were the affairs of the people of Nephi exceedingly precarious and dangerous, notwithstanding their greatcvictory which they had had over the Lamanites, and their great rejoicings which they had had because of their ddeliverance by the hand of the Lord.
Alma 48: 16 And also, that God would make it known unto them awhitherthey should go to defend themselves against their enemies, and by so doing, the Lord would deliver them; and this was the faith of Moroni, and his heart did glory in it; bnot in the shedding of blood but in doing good, in preserving his people, yea, in keeping the commandments of God, yea, and resisting iniquity
Alma 49:28 And it came to pass, that on the other hand, the people of Nephi did athank the Lord their God, because of his matchless power in delivering them from the hands of their enemies.
Alma 50: 22 And those who were faithful in keeping the commandments of the Lord were delivered at all times, whilst thousands of their wicked brethren have been consigned to bondage, or to perish by the sword, or to dwindle in unbelief, and mingle with the Lamanites.
Alma 58: 10 (Helaman said), Therefore we did pour out our souls in prayer to God, that he would strengthen us and deliver us out of the hands of our enemies, yea, and also give us strength that we might retain our cities, and our lands, and our possessions, for the support of our people.
11 Yea, and it came to pass that the Lord our God did visit us with assurances that he would deliver us; yea, insomuch that he did speak peace to our souls, and did grant unto us great faith, and did cause us that we should hope for our adeliverance in him.
3N4: Lachoneus, Gidgidoni and all the people cry Hosanna, hearts swollen with joy, unto the gushing out of many tears, because of the great goodness of God in delivering them out of the hands of their enemies,: and they knew it was because of their repentance, and their humility that they had been delivered from an everlasting destruction.
Hel 11:12 …sparing their lives and delivering them out of the hands of their enemies…
3N 3: 21 …as the Lord liveth, he will deliver them into our hands.
D&C 6: 2 Yea, behold, I will atell you in your mind and in your bheart, by the cHoly Ghost, which shall come upon you and which shall dwell in your heart.
3 Now, behold, this is the spirit of revelation; behold, this is the spirit by which Moses abrought the children of Israel through the Red Sea on dry ground.
4 Therefore this is thy agift; apply unto it, and blessed art thou, for it shall bdeliver you out of the hands of your cenemies, when, if it were not so, they would slay you and bring your soul to destruction.
D&C 24: 1 Behold, thou wast called and chosen to awrite the Book of Mormon, and to my ministry; and I have blifted thee up out of thine afflictions, and have counseled thee, that thou hast been delivered from all thine enemies, and thou hast been cdelivered from the powers of Satan and from ddarkness!
- LT Perry-The BOM delivers us from (ignorance, evil, guilt, sin, sorrow, envy, selfishness, anger, false trad and phil, self-deception, unhappiness, etc.) through the doctrine of Christ.
- Why does the Lord have so many instances in the scriptures of his intervention or deliverance in the lives of so many? (remember, I have given example after example that I AM the Great Deliverer, I will do the same for you, you can Trust me, I have given an abundance of evidence, )
- When has the Lord delivered me?
- Knowing and recognizing just the things we remember (not including all the times we don't fully recognize or are aware of how He has intervened), What can we do to show the Lord how we feel about these blessings of deliverance?
