Social strategy documentation

Is there any existing social strategy documentation? I think there are opportunities with emerging social tech such as Google's video conferencing ("hangouts"), google+ sparks for news, and "circles" for members to invite gospel discussion. To test the waters, though, we'd want to be sure that we stay in line with any existing policies, etc. Just some thoughts... -- ajbelmont, July 10, 2011

Scope & Participation

Apologies to all social media marketers, but just wondering if we may be inadvertently discouraging valuable participation in this project through an overemphasis on soliciting "marketers"....While I have a marketing degree, speak at social media marketing conferences, have an IT background, and enjoy leveraging new media as an independent film/TV producer, most of my work in this space involves applying social learning in organization development, and my current application of social thinking in the Church is as a member of the NorCal Public Affairs Media Committee. I guess my point is that perhaps the best road to greater innovation on "thinking socially" is an interdisciplinary one....Just a thought....THX for humoring a newbie! :) -- ajue, July 18, 2011

Signup link broken still

Wish there was a discussion forum on this project. How do you actually participate? It's a dead project to me until there is a starting point. -- Mikeydickson 11:08, 18 July 2012‎

You can use this talk page to raise questions. They may or may not get answered -- that depends on who is watching this page. But you should never ask questions in the article itself; I moved your question here and removed it from the article. -- Aebrown (talk) 16:31, 18 July 2012 (MDT)
The signup link was not "still broken," but rather was broken again (it definitely worked for a while after the last time it was broken). I fixed the broken link. I don't know if the project is still alive, but you might try to contact Jacob Floyd (the project manager) for an update on the project. -- Aebrown (talk) 16:43, 18 July 2012 (MDT)
