Talk:Meetinghouse Webcast Communicator

How does one give Feedback?

At the bottom of this article is a section on feedback that says, "If you found the above to be incorrect, or it didn't help you solve your problem, please let us know." But there is no obvious Feedback link. If I were reading that with no other information, I would look around and find the FEEDBACK link at the very top of the LDS Tech banner and use that link. Is that the intent? My guess is that questions or comments sent using that Feedback mechanism might eventually get to the right department, but that's not the best way.

I would propose that the Feedback section should link directly to a more direct feedback page or e-mail address (but I don't know what that should be). -- Aebrown 17:43, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

One idea that we could implement would be to create some type of template we use on any page that solicits feedback that directs them to the discussion page and then those in charge of the article subscribe to that discussion page. -- Tom Welch 11:47, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Article title change?

Now that there are a series of articles on Meetinghouse Webcast Software, this article seems to be be poorly named. It seems like this article should be called something like "Meetinghouse Webcast Hardware" and there should be a new article titled "Meetinghouse Webcast" that is a brief overview of the webcast technologies, explaining (and of course linking to) the hardware and software solutions, and perhaps giving some guidance as to why one might be preferable to the other. Thoughts? -- Aebrown 19:20, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

I went ahead and moved this article to Meetinghouse Webcast Communicator. It's definitely good to have an umbrella article Meetinghouse Webcast to contain common information and link to the hardware and software solutions. But I'm not sure about the title. There were two links to the Meetinghouse Webcast Communicator page in a couple of the software articles, and this new linkage fits those pretty well. But the Communicator article also describes the Receiver hardware, so giving it a "Communicator" title may be misleading. It's easy enough to change, now that the overall structure is in place and the nav template has been adjusted accordingly. -- Aebrown 04:20, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
