Requerimientos
Para el uso de PVC, se necesitan seis cosas (más detalles a continuación):
- Estar en uno de los Puestos autorizados de liderazgo o ser empleado de la Iglesia
- LDS Account
- Conexión de Internet de banda ancha
- Computadora PC o Mac con un navegador compatible
- Cámara
- Equipo de Audio
Internet de banda ancha

∗∗ A fin de lograr video HD de 720p con PVC sin gasto excesivo de la CPU, se necesita un procesador quad-core o una cámara web con un chip de procesamiento de vídeo, como el Logitech B990 (ver más abajo).

Cámara
Una cámara web de alta calidad le dará los mejores resultados con PVC. Muchas portátiles llevan una cámara incorporada - estas seguramente funcionarán pero la calidad de imagen es más baja.

Equipo de Audio

Many users jump in and attempt to use PVC using the built-in microphone and speakers on their laptop. While this is tempting, this will usually produce poor audio results, particularly for those you call. Here is what we recommend instead:

For all choices above except the built-in mic and speakers, the Echo Cancellation option should be checked off in the PVC client under Configuration / Devices. If it is left on, you may experience clipped audio.
Places to purchase
The equipment listed above may be purchased anywhere you can find it. Church HQ does not fund the purchase of webcams and audio devices for ecclesiastical leaders' use. Determination of how to fund those purchases is left to the discretion of local units.
