This month’s LDSTech broadcast will feature an introduction to LDSTech by principal engineer Tim Riker. He will give an overview of LDSTech and its purpose, the tools and resources available, and instructions on how to participate in the LDSTech community as a volunteer.

Included in the presentation will be information on using tools such as the wiki, forums, Google Groups, JIRA, Swarm, and the new iOS installer to assist with development, testing, and support of projects hosted on LDSTech.

We will have an LDSTech Broadcast on the first Friday of each month through December. The locations are listed below, but anyone can join remotely.

When do I show up?

You can show up at 12 p.m. to watch the broadcast. Dress code for on-site participants at the Riverton Office Building (ROB) is casual to business casual.

Can I ask questions?

You can ask questions through Twitter. Just include the hashtag #ldstech in your tweet, and someone will respond. We have several people standing by during the broadcast to answer questions. We will also stay after the broadcast for an extra half hour to answer questions. For more information, see Twitter and LDSTech.

Where are we broadcasting from?

In the Zion Room at the ROB (Riverton Office Building). You are welcome to join us live. It is located at 3740 West Market Center Drive, Riverton, Utah 84065. You can see a map here. The F518 and F547 buses run to this location, or you may provide your own transportation to and from the building.
