Who can use this product?

All individuals who qualify based on the authorized positions list are able to go to the PVC login page, click on "Request an Account", sign up using their LDS Account username and password, and begin using the system without any additional authorization. Your current calling or Church employment status information is stored in your LDS Account, and the system automatically authorizes approved users.

How to invite guests

It is permissible to invite guests who are not authorized PVC users to your PVC meeting, as long as you are conducting Church business or ecclesiastical work. For example, a bishop may wish to hold a ward council meeting using PVC. Since the auxiliary leaders are not currently authorized for PVC, the bishop can email his PVC meeting room link to the members of the ward council, and they can then join the meeting.

Please keep in mind that the Church incurs a one-time licensing charge for every PC that downloads the PVC client, including guests. The system is not to be used for personal purposes. Please use this resource wisely.

For additional information, please see How to invite guests on the training page.

When do I use this product?

Some examples of meetings that could be held with PVC:

- Personal priesthood interviews (PPI's)
- 1:1 meetings
- Presidency meetings
- Council meetings
- Training sessions

Again, PVC is intended for individuals conducting LDS Church business and ecclesiastical work. It is not to be used for personal use such as family meetings. Other products such as Skype and Google Video Chat are excellent choices for personal video calls.
