Like Button LDSTech recently made a small splash on Facebook. At the end of September LDSTech recorded a new high spot. Alan Smoot, manager of the LDSTech team, announced LDSTech recorded 525 ‘Likes’ and 126 mentions or re-posts, and it's still growing.

We appreciate the attention. It was just in time for our LDSTech Conference (October 16 and 17, at the University of Utah’s Institute of Religion building). Good timing!

Regular readers of LDSTech’s blog may have seen a recent change in how the articles are presented. Since July we have added a “read more” button, showing only a tease of the first few sentences to let the reader know the main idea of the articles, and we want to know what our readers think of this.  Is it annoying, do you like it, or are you unaffected by it? What are your opinions?

Input from our readers is important to us. We are actively seeking your comments on the stories and articles on the LDSTech blog. How do they appear on the blog? Is the content of interest to you? What do you like about it and what do you suggest to improve it?

With that invitation, the rest is up to you.  Just add your comment below.

A recent decision to not stream video from the 2014 LDSTech Conference will change the way some people interact with the sessions of the conference. The decision was made to allow the limited bandwidth at the University of Utah LDS Institute building to be available for attendees’ use and not use a significant portion for streaming the conference.
