Bookmarks are links that point back to an article. When you bookmark content on LDS.org, your Study Notebook shows the title, the first few sentences, and a link back to the article.

Note: Currently there's a bug in bookmarking magazine articles. When you bookmark the article, no link appears in the Study Notebook.

To bookmark an article:

  1. Navigate to the page you want to bookmark. It must be a scripture, conference address, magazine article, or lesson.
  2. Click Bookmark on the footer toolbar.

The Bookmark button appears on the toolbar at the bottom of the page.

  3. If desired, click Details to expand the bookmarking options. Add a note, tags, and notebook for the bookmark.
  4. Click Save.

The article you bookmarked receives a bookmark icon Bookmarkicon.png on the page to let you know you've bookmarked it. You can actually drag this bookmark icon to the place you want it (such as a key passage in the article). A link to the article is added to your Study Notebook.
