Pretty much everything related to Google is now blocked on the church website. I can't even log in to Gmail to retrieve e-mail anymore. I guess I need to create yet another e-mail account so that I can get to my e-mail from the church computer since Google seems to be blocked at least every other month.

Just to clarify, you are not talking about the Church website. Rather, you are talking about the Church-managed firewall. I would also note that there is no problem with the General Access filtering level, but only with the LDS Extended Access filtering level (at least that is what I gather from previous posts in this thread).

Sorry I typed that way too fast. Yes you are correct, Extended access is still blocking google docs and is now also blocking gmail and google maps.

One warning about using google docs (if the access thing ever gets resolved). It is possible to access google docs using both http and https. Make sure that your bishopric and stake presidency accesses it using https, otherwise they're transmitting their password in the clear.

After last week's issue with China google now defaults gmail.com to using the secure https: protocols. If you log into gmail.com and from there link over to google docs the https: appears to persist.
