On the 18th of November, our Internet was down at our building so we could not transmit.
On the 21st, our Internet was back up so I did a send and receive at that point.
The batch was recorded correctly using the shorter numbering scheme.
During the same evening, I did a send and receive several times. MLS was upgraded to 3.5 in the process.
Unfortunately, the batch on the 18th was retransmitted and the checks that were written on the 18th were also retransmitted.
We received messages that the checks were rejected because the check numbers and amounts were the same, but the system is showing two batches for the 18th.

One with the shorter numbering scheme and another with the longer numbering scheme.

I sent a message to Salt Lake on the 25th but haven't received a response.

Should I delete all the transactions for one of the batches and retransmit?

Sometimes Salt Lake will respond to the stake instead of the ward, so you might wish to check with your stake clerk to see if he has an answer for you. In the meantime, I would not change or delete anything until you have a chance to find out how headquarters would like to handle this.

You may need to contact LUS to resolve this if it has been this long since the issue has appeared and nothing has resolved itself by now.
