Auxiliary Leader account not giving leadership options in web portal

#1

Post by browncow »

Our Primary President can log in to the local MLS and has all the rights you would expect of a Primary President. Using the same login on lds.org though she doesn't get any of the leadership options for reports or tools. Any ideas how to trouble shoot this?

Thanks in advance,

Casey (Ward Executive Secretary)

There's nothing to troubleshoot; auxiliary leaders have no access to Leader Resources at this point. This issue has been raised several times; see, for example, the thread access to leadership portal.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

Hope, it's what keeps us coming back for more... just like in the Gospel. :)

I am a Primary President and for future development even limited access to reporting functions would save me literally hours upon hours of having to go to the church etc. to get info. or wait for someone to send it to me. Many of us change over binders yearly for teachers and are constantly updating our own spreadsheets and this tool could help us immensely.

In my opion there should be no need for a spreadsheet. Your ward clerk should be able to print out any report you need that could be placed right in the binder.

I'm sure there are others holding callings to feel the same way. But the pace and priority of development is directed by the Priesthood Department. At this time only the Stake Presidency and Bishoprics have access to the reporting area.

As such, there is nothing you can do but work with what you have at this time.
