Group Texts

How do I send texts to a group with my iphone 4? I am a new stake executive secretary and will be texting the H.C. many times. I would rather not have to add them one at a time.

Is your question how to get the people imported as contacts in your phone? Or how to add those people to a group on your phone?

See the thread Group Texts for suggestions on how to do it using email.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

I have an iphone 4. I also am a stake exec. sec. I send group texts to the HC, or Bishops or Church Bulletins or whatever with a free app called "contacts xl". The previous s.e.s. told me about it. It's great.

Handcent - available for both iPhone and Android should do everything you need and more. Best of all, since it isn't platform-specific you can make sure that everybody is able to use the features.

I use an app called "GContact Lite." You can also add a contact group and add the contacts to it in Outlook on Windows or Address Book on Mac OS X, then sync the group to your phone.
