Finance section issues after MLS 3.5 update

Two of our units got the update on Sunday. It said to do a send/receive to obtain. The update worked and gave us a message to close MLS then reopen and we could proceed in finance section. However, it would not let us go forward. We did additional send/receive to see if more programs did not get downloaded. Once the computer even went into an automatic check-disc process.

Has anyone had issues like this, where they are unable to use the finance section after the update?

You'll need to do some more send/receives. It may have been waiting for something to process on CHQ's side.

I did notice some reports of things being slow this past Sunday, so if you go in during the week it should be better.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

This usually indicates a problem with your hard drive. Did you let the check disk complete? Did you note what the issue was from the status display? There may have been a bad sector or some other minor but correctable problem. It is possible the hard drive error occurred while writing to the drive during file downloads or even while accessing the downloaded file(s) for update completion.

Since it is hard to tell what impact the hard drive error has had on any files needed to complete the update you may need to contact LUS. It wouldn't hurt to download the installer and install over top of your current installation and then do another send/receive or a series of send/receives. If that does not correct the issue then most definitely contact LUS.
