Reservation Edit Problems/Bug

Reservation Edit Problems/Bug

As an administrator and building scheduler, I am unable to edit a reservation once it has been made and is on the reservations calendar. I can click on an event and open up one, but once I go out, it locks you out of everything else. In addition, am unable to see who made the reservation. Is there a a bug in the system?

Just to clarify, there's a difference between a "reservation" and an "event". Are both of these types not working for you? Or just one? Thanks.

Can you provide an exact sequence of events so we can try to duplicate it?
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I click on the resource and select the building that I want to see, where I am over all of them. I go to the day in question and click either on the reservation or the event, both do the same thing. Then click edit. Once I back out, I am not able to do that again. It allows only one time. It's like it is locked.

I tried that from the Reservation screen using Chrome and couldn't duplicate it.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I am also experiencing this behavior. Here are my stats:
Win 7 Pro.
IE 9 or Chrome (same error in both browsers).
I am the Stake Tech Specialist and am an admin.
In Building Reservations.
I am trying to edit a series that has the entire building reserved on the 1st and 3rd Friday and Saturdays for a Ward that meets in the building. Another Ward has the 2nd and 4th Friday and Saturdays (similar series). When I try to change the Entire building to specific rooms in the building that exclude the Family History Center and Primary room (the FHC uses the Primary room during the week), I get an error after clicking the Update Reservation button stating (it also asks if I want to update the entire series, which I do), "Message from webpage. Sorry, the data service has failed. Please contact support." Only option is to press Okay. I must press ESC to get the "busy" message to stop. Then I am back at my changed page, but am not able to save the changes I just made because it repeats the error. The work-around that I had to use was to delete the entire reservation and start over, which is annoying.

I am working with another brother in our stake who has tried Firefox and IE on a windows machine and had the same problem about not being able to edit. He can right click and get the options to copy or delete, but he cannot left click and edit. I use Chrome on an Apple and have no problems.

I, on the other hand, have intermittent problems when I pull up the edit box that the calendar drops to the bottom of the browser window along with the edit box and I have to resize the window to get things to move back in position. It does not seem to matter how wide I have the window set, it will still do it at times.

I'm getting a similar error -- tried to change the rooms of a reservation and it just spins forever. When I cancel the operation I get "the data service has failed". And yes, then I get the stacked calendar display. This is with Chrome.
