Forgotten password and no email address, user name or password remembered

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. This forum is a space to discuss all things related to Church Accounts (registration, account recovery, user experience, vulnerabilities, etc.).

Forgotten password and no email address, user name or password remembered

Trying to help a person at our local FHCenter recover his password for his LDS account and they have forgotten their email user name and password. I read Ken Richins post #5 under "Forgotten user name and abandoned email" and I thought the process must be similiar. Your help would be great for all of us who serve at the FHCenter. Every day we have people needing password or username recovery.

All problems related to an LDS Account are addressed by going to the LDS Account log on page and clicking the "Can't Sign In?" button. It does not matter whether the account holder is a member or non-member. The different scenarios provided there will walk you through the recovery of a lost user name, password, or both.

We appreciate your quick reply and we are aware of this info. However we find no way to recover a password without an email address. We have been told there is a way by several folks but no one really knows the trick of how to do it....If you know this trick please share it.

You may want to look at the Forgotten user name and abandoned email thread. For some reason it seems that some users are not given the same options as others.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
