Organisational roster not updated

I access data about my ward regarding calendared events, leadership, ward members, etc. I have noticed both here, as well on tools such as Ward Central or Stake Central on my android phone, that the data is severely outdated.

When I raise the issues with my ward Clerk, he tells me the information he has for the current ward organizations is up to date and that that information is synchronized with the church's database.

I checked on a few teachers in Primary , where my wife and I teach, and here on the lds.org site, as well on the Ward Central site, there are teachers listed who haven't taught in over a year, or MORE. Where is the breakdown with this? It's frustrating seeing someone's name that may not even be in the ward, listed as currently serving in my ward.

How can I push to get the data to reflect current reality?

When you say "here" do you mean the Directory on LDS.org? If so, then that does reflect what is in CDOL, which takes its information for the leadership directory from MLS -- that's the tool that your ward clerk uses to enter callings.

Your ward clerk needs to make sure that callings are flowing properly from MLS to CDOL, and then to the Directory on LDS.org. It should be easy enough for him to check if the Directory on LDS.org matches his records in MLS; if it doesn't, he should check CDOL (which will almost certainly match the Directory) and then follow the steps in the wiki for Correcting duplicate or missing callings.

What website are you looking at? If it's the classic LUWS, it's not updated from MLS. Instead, a website admin has to update everything. Some wards have abandoned the classic site since the new directory has come out.
It appears that Ward and Stake Central pulls from this old resource. I'd suggest you update to LDS Tools.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Added: If you want to see the new directory, go to lds.org, select Tools, and then Directory. It will include callings. It is synchronized from MLS. If it's not working, then refer to Alan's post for instructions for the ward clerks.
