Where can I find a signature card to allow new bishopric members to sign checks?

Signature Cards are in MLS

You can print signature cards from MLS. Just go to Reports/Forms, Print Form, then select Signature Card.

If you are on deposit concentration, complete the signature card and mail it to CHQ. You do not need to take the MLS signature card to the bank.kmalone wrote:So is the intent to just drop this off at the bank and we are good to go?
If you have a local bank account with a balance of $1,100 then you should call CHQ for instructions. In some cases, they will ask you to get a signature card from that bank, sign it, and return it to that bank. In other cases, CHQ has taken over management of the account at the local bank.
In either case, the signature card generated by MLS goes to CHQ and covers the local unit checking account for the unit checks that come from CHQ.

Thanks wasn't sure if something was wrong because it wouldn't save my name in the field.

No worries. Sounds like you did everything correctly. The names that show up on the signature card form are pulled from a standard set of callings in MLS. Custom callings will not show up. The form allows you to edit/add/remove names there for a 1-time print out, but there is no way to save any changes. The next time the form is called up, it populates the fields from the standard calling database again.kmalone wrote:Thanks wasn't sure if something was wrong because it wouldn't save my name in the field.
Just a note, there IS a limit of how many days can elapse from the time the form is printed until it's invlaid, so don't delay getting all the signatures and mailing it off.
Mike
So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

Time to wait for Signing Checks
Hello,
We have a new ward clerk. We have printed and sent in our signature check into CHQ. How long before we can have the ward clerk sign for checks? Will CHQ send something back to verify or confirm our signature card?
Thank you.
