Request to help build / design a Family History missionary recruiting website

#1

Post by JohnsonAC »

All - This is Art Johnson with the Family History Department. We're looking to update our current version of our missionary recruiting website. Our current site is found here: https://familysearch.org/mission. We'd like to improve our offering considerably, broadening the scope of missionary candidates we'd like to attract. We're hoping to build a site that lists all possible service opportunities within the department, perhaps something that looks like this: http://www.saucony.com/store/SiteContro ... -18-p-app1 where we could list the different opportunities available for missionary candidates.

Please contact Art Johnson (johnsonac@familysearch.org, 801-240-5641) if an offline description of the opportunity is preferred.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer! We're hoping to make it easier and more appealing to position the multiple missionary service opportunities available within the department.

Really Important ! Need a heart-touching design for these pages

Art and I are collaborating on this important design need. This will be THE spot for members to come and share their talents with the Family History initiative taking place. It must:
  1. Touch the hearts of members to become interested in serving as a part-time missionary or full-time missionary specifically regarding Family History work.
  2. Easy enough to have them click and begin to simple process of communicating with us on the first step to becomming a Church Service Missionary.
  3. Be able to help the member select service opportunities via a simple matching tool (like the Saucony.com shoe advisor - http://www.saucony.com/store/SiteContro ... -18-p-app3
Anxious to have help on this global design request.

thanks,
Brad Baker

Does this tie in with The Vineyard? Maybe you can reuse alot of what they did.
