Quarterly Report Troubles

#1

Post by rancor99 »

I am having trouble getting my quarterly report to send to Salt Lake. I have it completed, saved, printed, and even went through each of the numbers again to see if something wasn't registered as being completed. After all of this and Salt Lake still hasn't received our report. Believe me I hit send/receive when getting on the computer and before logging off. Does anyone else have this problem or suggestions on what I might not have done correctly?

Sometimes MLS gets a bit confused and thinks it has already sent the quarterly report. The fix is to change one of the numbers, then Close (make sure you save), then change the number back to the correct value, Close (make sure you save again). At this point you should see a message pop up saying "This Quarterly Report is complete and will be submitted to Church headquarters the next time you send and receive transactions." Do a Send/Receive and it should actually be transmitted.

Also, before you transmit, you should be able to go to File > Membership Record Transaction Report. Somewhere on that report you should see an entry for "Quarterly Report Data for Quarter Ending on 31 Mar 2012." That's a further confirmation that it will indeed be transmitted properly.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
