HTVT Reporting Application Updates

#1

Post by brado426 »

I spent the last couple weeks making major changes to the HTVT Reporting application. The highlights are:
  • Application now utilizes Microsoft SQL and stored procedures
  • Skinned to look like it is part of LUWS
  • Now even more secure with username/password requirement (only for Supervisors and Presidency Members
  • All reporting URLs are now encrypted
  • Auto E-Mail routine is now far more robust and reliable

This application is very close to being "Enterprise ready" now and I am just as excited about it as I ever was. :)

I need a good "Home Teaching" graphic to replace the ward building below. Any suggestions?

hahaha....

I don't think that would quite be sending the right message. How about a close-up of the FIRST day of the month? :)

As far as images, some combination of two images - one of brothers teaching a family, one of sisters teaching a sister.

Great picture but I'd not include it unless permission was given by the author/creator.

I think that picture would be great to use and it does send a good message for both Home and Visiting Teaching. If someone wants to investigate what would be required to get permission to use it, we could give it a try.

Isn't that one of Greg Olsen's? Maybe the church could get permission from him to use it.

No, it's from the Simon Dewey collection. I know the Church has used quite a bit of his work in various publications and you also can buy prints of his work at Deseret Book, but I would have no idea how to go about getting permission to use an image like that in your project.
