Android mormon channel blocked iOS mormon channel allowed

I'm working on supporting the use of smartphones in sharing mormon messages while teaching. The iOS mormon channel is not blocked while the android mormon channel is blocked. Can this be changed? My understanding of why it is blocked is because the youtube servers are blocked while the church servers are allowed. Why would the iOS mormon channel use church servers while the android mormon channel use youtube servers. I understand that google owns youtube and android but why would the same app access content from different servers?
