Conflicting events NOT working properly.

When I schedule an event, a list of NEAR conflicts appears incorrectly. 1) Shows EVERY date of a continuous event, i.e., Monday night facility closure, starting in January while the event I am scheduling is on a Saturday; yet,
2) does NOT show an event actually scheduled on the same day that buts up to the new event within 1/2 hour. Is there a way to fix that?
