New FamilySearch API, technology and third-party products will be showcased the week of the FamilySearch Developers Conference, March 12, 2008 at the BYU Conference Center. The purpose of of the conference is to learn from FamilySearch engineers and community developers about the new FamilySearch Web Services (API) and best practices for consuming them in a variety of popular software environments. Independent or commercial software developers and invited to attend many presentations, labs, and sessions. They keynote and conference theme is “Brave New Platform: Changing the World of Genealogy”. Compatible Third-party products will be showcased at the BYU Family History Technology Workshop and Computerized Gealogy Conference, March 13-15th.
