Export Directory to Google Contacts

I know that there is a directory to vCard converter (see the Perl script here), however I like to be able to have the head of household AND spouse as their own separate contact.

I wasn't in the mood for programming today, so I ended up downloading LibreOffice and did the entire thing in Base using queries.

Unfortunately Base is harder to use then MS Access so my instructions is quite long.

Anyhow, feel free to try it out (but be careful: importing 200+ contacts into your google account can cause a lot of cleanup if you mess up. In the instructions I recommend trying this out on a temporary google account first).

PS: it is much better to use the LDS Tools app for your phone... but if you don't have a cell phone to do that or just want everyone's contact info in google contacts, then this will work (sorry, no kids are imported )
