Set Apart Flag is not Syncing from MLS to lds.org
When a member is sustained we enter that into MLS with the proper date the member was sustained. A few days or weeks later that person is set apart and we go into MLS and update the Set Apart Flag to Yes. That update never makes it to lds.org. Is there a way to make that happen or is this a bug in MLS?

It should show in Clerk Resources as soon as it is in CDOL. I believe they do some caching, so you may have to log out to see the change.skellehe wrote:When a member is sustained we enter that into MLS with the proper date the member was sustained. If it is not there then I would recommend changing the Set Apart Flag to No, saving it and then setting it back to Yes. That should cause it to be sent up again.
If that doesn't work then send me a PM with which position and I will look and see what is happening.

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem. Will also try the Set Apart Flag to Yes route!

the above workaround could be useful if there was only one calling to "fix", but after reading this thread i checked and found several dozen callings in this unsynched state. it is not appealing to go through all of them changing correct settings twice, resaving each time. hopefully a better way can be implemented. i hadn't really paid attention to it before, because we typically rely on MLS reports to track who hasn't been set apart yet.JonesRK wrote:It should show in Clerk Resources as soon as it is in CDOL. that said, it seems to synch properly if the set apart "yes" flag is set at the same time as the sustained date is entered, but not if the flag is updated later as described in the original post. i have several examples that seem to show that is the case, and no amount of time passing after the MLS update is made seems to change that...
(also, no "set apart" status is visible in cdol, at least to me...)

Last evening I got the opportunity to retry the flag setting scenario. It works correctly now.JonesRK wrote:It should show in Clerk Resources as soon as it is in CDOL. I believe they do some caching, so you may have to log out to see the change.

Many thanks Ryan for the fix!
