Delete Class - Service Error Detected
Calling/Position: Ward Website Administrator
Tried this using both Chrome and IE9
I tried to delete one of the classes that I added. When I click the red 'X' for delete, it pops the "Service error detected. This session may have timed out." message, then refreshes the page. Catching a glimpse of the page before it refreshes, it looks like the delete happened, but the class I attempted to delete is still there once the refresh happens. Even when this is the first thing I attempt to do after logging in, it returns the same error, so definitely not a session time out issue.
So far it happens every time. I've been unable to delete any classes.

I encountered the same problem. Using Firebug, the same 501 error occurred: "DELETE https://www.lds.org/lesson/services/91545/courses/25859 501 Not Implemented".

I was able to delete a class while I was at the LDS Tech Conference last Thursday at the ROB. When it worked, I thought "Oh, good, maybe it is fixed."
However, I have not been able to make it work since then, so almost every time I try it I have this issue.
That made me think maybe it's an issue with location/network, but I've tried from my work computer over VPN, as well as from my home computer/network with the same results. Just tried again with no luck.

Thanks failproof. Your response gave me what I need to figure out what is going on. Our caching technology that we put in place for conference is still blocking some types of http requests for certain URLs. In this case, DELETE requests are being blocked for the /lesson context that the lesson scheduler is using. I'll put in a request to get that changed.
It worked while you were here at the ROB because the ROB's network bypasses the caching mechanism (also the reason why I couldn't reproduce this).

No working for me
I'm having the same issue now with IE7 and Safari. It doesn't seem the issue has been totally resolved. I have never been able to delete a class.
I'm the ward website admin and just starting to use the new tool

Cannot delete classes
I used to be able to delete classes but it now says: "Service error detected. The session may have timed out."
