Maps, Pictures, and illustrations in mobile Apps

I hope I'm not duplicating a discussion but I have search with no results on the topic.

I use an iPad (as does about half my ward now) at church and I attend adult Institute where I usually just have my Android based phone. When instructors refer to maps, pictures, or illustrations found in our normal scriptures and manuals none of these are available on the mobile app versions.

Is this feature coming to the mobile apps? When all other apps from any other developer can offer full images and graphics I find it hard to understand why this is not part of the Church's mobile apps. Can anyone elaborate on this for the forum? Thanks.

Agreed. Some interactivity would be nice as well, but the basic graphic with text beneath it would be good.
