There are people in our ward who have made it clear that they do not want to be contacted. It is clear that they would also not like to have their phone number and email address etc. available to others.
Given that we (the Bishopric, the clerks) know that, is there a way, perhaps in MLS, to prevent that information from being available on LDS.org?
When the person has asked several times that such be the case, it is a concern to have to go to them again and tell them that they themselves will have to create and LDS account, navigate the directory, and follow sometimes confusing instructions on how not to be listed.
Thank you

Any bishopric member or clerk can go to the directory in lds.org and edit the profile of any member of the ward to hide the entire household or just the address, phone number(s) and/or email addresses. The member does not have to do it themselves.wsplawn wrote:There are people in our ward who have made it clear that they do not want to be contacted. Note that this is done online, not in MLS.
