Family Tree using newFamilySearch API now Live

#1

Post by garysturn »

FamilySearchLabs has posted a Family Tree project that uses the nFS API. The project is a Web 2.0 application and can be viewed at: http://www.familysearchlabs.org/
You must have an account in newFamilySearch in order to view the project until they setup a Demo account. It combines ideas from the Pedigree Viewer and the Life Browser.

Hmmmmm. That would suggest that the API is now available for general use, so we should be seeing the release of products that make use if it, no?

There is some discussion about the API in the FSLabs Blog and they refer people to the FS Developer Network.

Here is some more info: FSLabsBlog

Thank you for posting this link, although I now have to wait until I can get a nFS account, but seeing what I can do with the API is great.
