Internet Connection for Bishops/Clerks?

We have high speed internet coming into our building going into the family history room. Our Ward would like to connect to the internet to update ward website and fill out online missionary recommendations. Does anyone know any church policies if we can do that or not?

My understanding is only through Church connected networks. If you have a PIX501 from the Church for your Family History Center, you may be good to go.
