When we thought we had burned out the lamp in our Sony projector (I don't know the exact model offhand), I contacted our FM group and they said it was their responsibility to replace the lamp. It turned out we didn't actually need to replace it, but the FM group was ready to handle it. That assumes, of course, that the projector came from the FM group (which ours did). So you might pursue that option, and let the FM group do the research and pay for it.mikelodwick wrote:Does anyone have a source for a replacement lamp for this projector
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

Projector manufacturers do not sell bare bulbs. They are not the same and i found this out the hard way. Most are made in china and as most chinese stuff are copies of the original (down to the brand) which is printed on the bulb.mikelodwick wrote:Does anyone have a source for a replacement lamp for this projector
Besides most have a different colour temperature which changes the projector colours and blow pretty quickly like in my case.
As you are in Sydney call these guys. Im sure they would have it in stock at a decent price with Epson Australia Warranty since they sell a lot of Epsons.
