STS Access to new "Clerk Resources" functionality

#1

Post by chmsant »

At what point, if any, will the STSs have access to the new clerk resources pages on LDS.org that were announced yesterday? I want to push this functionality out to the clerks in my stake, but if I can't see the environment they are working in, how am I expected to support them?

I have no answers to your questions. However, what some of us have done, as a work-around, is to go into Stake MLS and add ourselves as generic a Assistant Stake Clerk, in addition to the STS position. The STS position is an Assistant Stake Clerk after all. I don't know if this opens up access to all clerk resources, but you'll definitely have access to a lot more than you otherwise do.

The stake technology specialist is called by the stake presidency as an assistant stake clerk to serve as the primary support contact for technology services and electronic devices in all Church meetinghouses in the stake. The stake technology specialist is not authorized to view or manage membership or financial data.
