Calendar Blank

#1

Post by jrwebster »

As of yesterday, I cannot see any events in my ward/stake calendar. Perhaps I hit a button or setting that caused all events to go away. I am not showing that I have any subscribed calendars, however when I go into the "settings" it shows that I have several calendars "Active", including my "Bishop's Calendar". Please advise.

The place under Settings where you see if a calendar is "Active" is the Calendars tab. That is controlling whether those calendars are active (meaning enabled) for any members of the ward. That is a prerequisite for being able to subscribe to a calendar, but other than that is quite a different thing from actually subscribing.

The place you need to go to see your subscriptions is also under Settings, but is the Subscriptions tab. There you will see a status of "Subscribed" or "Unsubscribed" by each active calendar. Make sure you see "Subscribed" by each calendar you want to be subscribed to; if you don't, click the "Unsubscribed" button and it will change to "Subscribed" for each calendar.

Once you have the correct list of Subscribed Calendars, the main calendar view should contain all those subscribed calendars. Make sure that the boxes by each of those calendars are checked -- events will be visible only for those calendars that are checked.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
