API for updating membership data and callings via cron job on private web site.

My Bishopric asked me to create a website to maintain Faith in God data for Primary children. It's at http://www.buildfaithingod.org - My stake president is also interested in what we're doing on a ward level.

Are there any lds.org APIs that I can use to update membership and calling information automatically via a cron job called from my server?

If not, can a ward clerk format special e-reports from MLS that he could then upload weekly to my server that would update this information?

No. In the article Third-party API for gospel content you will read:
Note that this API access to the Church’s content will not extend to membership data. Membership data is always private and never integrated through APIs. Additionally, third-party developers are restricted from using LDS Account, which could give access to membership data. This restriction protects the privacy of membership data (a legal requirement in many countries) and safeguards how membership data is viewed and used.
So the APIs you are looking for do not exist, and by policy will never exist.

It's technically possible, but this seems to be contrary to Church data privacy and security policies. Note that according to Handbook 2, Section 21.1.22, the fact that your bishopric asked you to create this seems to violate the prohibition on the ward creating any web presence.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

Thank you for your feedback. A large number of wards around the Church have been using ymyw.org for maintaining individual stats on Faith in God progress. Our ward bishopric decided that they wanted a more comprehensive site for this data. Ergo, the site we're developing. It does not represent a ward web presence, since it is all based on SSL login functionality with highly restricted data access based on callings.

Thank you again for your help.
