Feature Request: Assigning an event to multiple calendars

Is it possible to add the ability to associate an event with multiple calendars. Here is the problem. There are events in the ward that apply to multiple organizations, but not the full ward (for example young men and young women). Right now if you want an event on both schedules, you create two separate events. There are a few problems with this.

• If you Register for multiple calendars, you get a bunch of repeated events that clutter your calendar.
• it becomes more difficult to manage the event when there are changes.

It seems like allowing an event to be associated with multiple calendars is a good solution to this issue.

I believe in that example, most units work around it be creating a YM, YW, and Combined YM/YW calendars. Given the number of times they combine events, that does seem like the best solution at the moment.
