Block Meetings in the calendar

Block Meetings in the calendar

The block meeting times are entered in MLS but don't automatically show up in the Calendar Tool. Is there a way to link them so that this happens automatically? Are there any plans for this to happen?

There is currently no way to link them automatically. I doubt that implementing such a feature is practical:
  • The system can't know which calendar to put the event on
  • The system can't know what rooms to reserve, and even the location is not absolutely certain
  • Many wards choose not to put the block on the calendar, since it just adds clutter and complexity with a variety of meetings, especially with overlapping wards in multi-unit buildings.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
