Set up your unit calendars - "Stk Pres Interviews" selected by default

Post by gxwheel »

I have a stake assignment to set up the LDS[.]org calenders for the stake. We are converting from google as the "old calender" was not available internationally (Germany).

For this purpose I must frequently enter the Setup and Import page.
Whenever I enter this page the following occurs.
I land on the Set up your unit calendars
Only the checkbox for the Stake President Interviews calender is checked
I then inadvertently forget to remove the checkbox before clicking the "Save Calenders" button and then have to keep deleting this calender.

I realize this is my error at the end of the day , but . . .

Is this a designed feature?

For me it would be much nicer if no calenders were selected by default.

Thanks,
Gardner

It would appear all members are automatically subscribed to all ward and stake calendars by default. There have been other posts recommending various changes to this, including one early on I remember that asked that all members automatically be subscribed to all calendars.

Here are some I found after a quick search:

I wasn't referring to calender subscriptions, but rather calender creation during "set up and import".

When I go through those steps - one calender is always automatically selected. That is the problem, for which I am seeking a solution.
