Problem: account syncronization?

#1

Post by strawbo »

I used to be the ward website administrator for the Northshore 1st Ward in the Wilmette Illinois Stake. I maintained the calendar, migrated us to the new calendar, and created a customer calendar for the ward clerks.

I have since moved to Washington state, to the Issaquah 2nd ward of the Bellevue Washington Stake. My records transfered almost immediately (in July 2011), but I continue to receive calendar notifications from my old ward (via the old calendar system). Also, with the LDS Tool iPhone app, my current ward directory works fine, but the calendar shown is the old ward calendar.

How do I fix this?

If you were specified as a website administrator on the Classic Ward and Stake Websites, that assignment would probably not go away just because you changed wards (if the Classic sites had been designed properly, it would have). So I would recommend that you ask a current website administrator in your old ward back in Illinois to manually remove you as an administrator on the Classic ward website.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
