FHC PC re-imaging

#1

Post by harjon »

Can anyone point me in the right direction for information on how to re-image FHC PC's? They are all older PC's running Windows XP and they need a good re-imaging. Is there some documentation somewhere that the church provides for how they want things setup, what software should be on them, etc.?

Call support 866-406-1830 and ask for the latest image disk. it will be sent to the FHC Director and then you load the image disk and let it run when it's done your done.

The source for the operating system depends on who provided the PC. If it is a Church provided PC, follow KenRichins instructions. If it is donated, then the operating system is the local stake's responsibility. If is an unofficial FHC, then the unit is responsible for the operating system. The remaining software can be installed by going to the http://remote.familysearch.org/support.html.
