Oct. 27 - Bug fixes

#1

Post by jdcr256 »

We just updated the calendar to fix a few of the issues we've found so far. Thanks for all the great feedback over the last couple days.

Here is a list of the major things that were fixed in this patch:

- Better IE9 compatability (force the browser into IE9 mode)
- Don't change month/week when creating an event in the detail view
- Better support for special characters (&, ", etc.)
- Fixed timezone issue when syncing to an external calendar
- Fixed ability to edit Setup/Cleanup times
- Fixed rights issue for designated (non-default) admins
- Building scheduler can now override reservations (except blocked reservations, we're working on this)

Let us know how it looks.

Both quotes and ampersands are working for me in Google Chrome.

Could you give us more specifics? Where are you using the special characters -- event titles, event description, resource name, reservation name, calendar name, etc.? And then where are you viewing them where you see them displayed as you described? And which browser are you using?
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
