Bug: Exceptions to repeating events failed to migrate properly

#1

Post by russellhltn »

In looking over some of the events, I noticed that some exceptions to the repeating events failed to migrate correctly. Events that were moved, (such as Fast Sunday) showed up both on the "moved to" date and the normal repeating date.

Others, that were deleted, reappeared.

In my case, this has created an interesting situation as now the chapel is booked for both the upcoming Regional Conference and the usual Sacrament Meeting. Same time, same day, same room, two meetings. (Fortunately it's not all that hard to fix, since I know there won't be any Sacrament meeting that day.)

To spoke too soon. Deleting the conflicting sacrament meeting became "interesting". I couldn't do it the "short" way. When the dialog box came up to ask me what kind of delete - it was empty. I was forced to go into "Edit" and do the deletion from there.

The deletion of the extra Fast Sunday wasn't a problem.

Another problem: any events in a series with modified descriptions were returned to the series descriptions. This really messed up a series with the description "PH/RS Lessons". The description of each one was modified to have the lesson next to it i.e. "PH/RS Lessons-#43", "PH/RS Lessons-4th Sunday". Now I get to reconstruct the remaining year!
