Cannot schedule mulitple rooms in one location

I am an administrator and building scheduler. I tried to schedule multiple rooms for a funeral but could only schedule rooms listed right after each other by holding down the shift key. If I skipped a line, then it erased the previously highlighted rooms. Is this a bug or operator error?

that is expected behavior when using the shift key
using the control key will give you what you want
