LDS.org style guide

Can someone explain to me the design of the screenshots of LDS.org used in this style guide. Is the new LDS.org (which I love) getting another upgrade (which I would really love, too)?

That style guide was uploaded way back in 2009 before the new lds.org was released. It was uploaded when the new directory portion of lds.org was going to be a community project and it was supposed to be a guide for that project. Since that time the new lds.org has been released, the directory app was taken completely in-house and both use a somewhat different style than described in the guide.

I don't have any definitive information but, given that timeline, I'd say this style guide is out-dated and does not represent a future direction for lds.org.

I think that style guide is old. I don't know of any plans to upgrade the design of lds.org, though as a website it's probably constantly evolving.
