Why does the LDS Tools app for Android require access to my personal information? One of the permissions required, as listed in the Android Market is:

Your personal information
Read sensitive log data
Allows an application to read form the system's various log files. This allows it to discover general information about what you are doing with the phone, potentially including personal or private information.

Why does it need this?
