Power Point Presentation on Stake Channel 10

Post by doctorconcrete »

I would like to use the Stake Center Channel 10 to show a Powerpoint Presentation from a computer. What adaptors are needed to convert the computer signal to a video signal to do this.

You need to convert from what the computer outputs (most likely VGA) to composite video (not component video).

Note that there will be a big loss in detail. But if you've created the slides to be read by the person in the back row (large font, not cramming too much onto one slide), then you should be OK.

I will assume that the stake center already has a "Channel 10" so you only have to feed the channel and not create a new one. If that channel is being used for anything else, you may need a composite video switch of some kind so someone can switch between a camera and the PPT presentation.
