Can't export classic membership directory in vcard

I wanted to export in vcard format using the classic directory, but I get the following error every time:

"You must be a member of this ward or stake to view this page"

vcard imports easier into my Google Contacts versus CSV.

Anyone else have this problem?

I just wrote a Perl script that can take the new CSV export format from the new Directory tool and converts it to vCard format.

This works much better when importing into Google Contacts for example.

I've had someone ask me this same question. Can you tell be how to use the script? When I access the site I get a screenful of characters.

I've fixed the issue with the download. You will probably have to clear your browser cache first.

You need Perl 5.12 or better.

Export the directory to CSV format using the new lds.org ward directory.

Decompress the archive and open a command line to the same folder as LDS Directory CSV to vCard.pl

perl "LDS Directory CSV to vCard.pl" lds.org.csv converted.vcard
