Great Learning for All

#2

Post by aquintanal-p40 »

We had a successful Tech Talk and are grateful for the support of the Boston Insitute of Religion. Everyone who joined us benefited from learning how technology is being utilized and advancing in the Church as well as how to leverage their talents to help further the work of the Lord. Thanks to everyone for their participation and thought-provoking questions and ideas.

We will be having more Tech Talks throughout the country. Stay tuned for more announcements in the months to come.

Tech Talk Schedule

Post by dobrichelovek »

Exciting! This sounds like a great way to let people know what is going on with the Church and how the inspiration of this and last century is being put to use to further the work. Where will you be posting the schedule of these meetings so I can find out when you'll be in Denver? How are they communicated/advertised?

I am so glad you are excited about the Tech Talk series! We have begun these tech talks as part of our college recruiting program and present them at Institutes (though anyone in the community is welcome to attend).

There is not a set schedule of events. I schedule the talks as speakers (ICS directors and managers) become available. Our next planned location is the Phoenix/Mesa area, but we do not have a date set at this time. Now that we know there is an interest in the Denver area, we can look at having a presentation there in the future.

Any Tech Talks will be posted on this website once times, dates, and speakers have been confirmed. Stay tuned! :)
