90 Min Audit

90 Min Audit
Just had my stake audit. Almost exactly 90 minutes. No we don't have big weekly batches (deposits are typically a check or two each month) but we do have an incredible number of expense checks (many more then the average ward).

2 hours for me
I've been an auditor for about 7 months. It usually takes me about 2 hours.

And our auditor (for several years) is a retired major Airline maintenance mechanic, used to the details required to document to pass an FAA inspection. We love him, but are secretly glad he is "fully inspecting" financial documents in some other ward in the stake this time around...
I do have to say that he has caught some things we have missed and our record processes are better for it now.
