How do I correct discrepancies between MLS and the information in the on line directory?
For example, I have records for members in MLS that don't appear on line and there are members on line that I don't have records for in MLS.

It depends on the situation. For example, membership records can appear in the online directory before they arrive in MLS. For that case, you just need to wait a couple of days, and the next Send/Receive in MLS will fix it.dtquist wrote:How do I correct discrepancies between MLS and the information in the on line directory?

You also need to be aware of the status of the records in MLS. Nonmember records don't usually appear in the online directory (although nonmember spouses of member do, independent of whether or not a nonmember record exists for them in MLS). Out-of-unit membership records also don't appear in the membership list of the directory at this point (but they do appear in leadership directories, and this will hopefully be corrected in the future).
It sounds like you are a clerk, so you should be able to see members who have opted to hide their household information, but if you're not a clerk, or you're looking at the directory with someone else's login, that might be another reason you might not see someone in the online directory.
