Navigation bar on Android 2.2

#1

Post by mdallred »

I have a Samsung Captivate running Android 2.2. A friend with an i-phone has the ability to have multiple pages from different books open and navigate between them. I have full screen mode off so the navigation bar should be showing. I have no navigation bar. Does the Library app do something on i-phone that it doesn't on android? A friend with a different android 2.2 phone has the same issue.

I'm new around here, but have been using Android for a while now, as well as the Gospel Library app. You can use the "Recent" option to quickly switch between various scriptures (or other sources) you've been looking at. However there is no option like on the iOS version that allows you to have multiple "windows" or whatever you want to call them, and switch between them. It's lacking several major features that the iOS has, such as syncing highlights and notes to the LDS.org Study Notebook system. I'd love to see this added to the Android app.
